2025 in review

I realized that these are mostly for me, at least I think they are, and that's just fine. And this year I'm feeling a photo review. What did I do this year?

I spent new year's in Moscow with close friends, which was exactly what I wanted and needed. 

2025 was a year of love; I went to a wedding in January and another in August. 

I celebrated maslenitsa, my birthday, and took in Moscow culture. 

I explored some new places. Belarus (Minsk and Brest) with 3 of my coworkers:

Some summer in Moscow, which was graduation (where I saw Uma2rman, Zivert, and Gradusy!), different festivals and exhibitions around the city, mushroom picking, and good food at nice restaurants. 

The school year started off like usual: hectic and exciting. Team building, first day back where I got a letter of recognition from the Moscow Regional Department of Education, and of course the Bolshoi for Teacher's Day! We also had cooking classes, our first M-BRICS conference, the annual Christmas charity fair, and some beautiful sunrises. 

We also celebrated Halloween for the first time in a long time!

And then finally, despite all of the Christmas magic and decorations in Moscow, including making our own cards and ornaments, I took a last minute flight to see my family for the holidays. 

I'm sure I've forgotten a lot, but there was a lot to remember. So here's to us and a happy, healthy, fulfilling new year in 2026!
